Kathryn Jackson


KATHRYN JACKSON graduated from Stirling University, Scotland and Texas A&M University, United States with a first class honours degree specialising in workplace motivation. She also has a post graduate qualification in human resources, and studied professional coaching with the Oxford School of Coaching (United Kingdom). For seven years Kathryn worked in Arthur Andersen’s graduate recruitment and human resources consulting teams throughout the United Kingdom. She subsequently worked at the Royal Bank of Scotland and the Halifax Bank of Scotland.

Kathryn turned her own experience of redundancy in the United Kingdom into something positive by moving to New Zealand and establishing her coaching practice, careerbalance, which now provides professional coaching programmes to a wide variety of clients. She is an active member of the International Coach Federation in Canterbury.

Kathryn has been awarded membership of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (United Kingdom), is a certified career coach with Career Analysts (New Zealand) and has written articles for newspapers and magazines in New Zealand and the United Kingdom. A keen horse rider, she and her husband enjoy a rural lifestyle outside Christchurch.
